Bug notes in pal-e-docs are replaced by Forgejo bug issues. Use template-issue-bug to create a Forgejo issue instead of a pal-e-docs note.

Existing bug-* notes are legacy. New bugs MUST be Forgejo issues. The check-note-template.sh hook blocks creation of notes with bug note_type.

Legacy Template (preserved for reference)

The following template was used for pal-e-docs bug notes. It is no longer active.

Migration Path

  • Open bugs: Create a Forgejo issue using template-issue-bug, then archive the note.
  • Resolved bugs: Leave as-is (historical record).
  • New bugs: Always use Forgejo issues. Never create bug-* notes.
  • template-issue-bug — the replacement: Forgejo issue template for bugs
  • convention-todo-lifecycle — current work item lifecycle
